We understood very early on that our most important asset as a hotel wasn’t our pool, but our community.
We do not exist in isolation, we are embedded in a potent community, and, in fact, we were born of that community, with the hotel founders involved with the initial development of the James St precinct over 14-years before The Calile opened.

Founded by Rebecca Malouf on the premise that M.O.S.T. prioritises local and international artisans, makers, creators and designers, slow fashion and eco-conscious supply chains. Many of the objects are custom made just for M.O.S.T. with the business focussed on quality and supporting makers and artists over trends and mass trade.
