This October, Calile Culture takes a seat at Hellenika for an afternoon of lunch and conversation, marking the release of Simon Gloftis’ new book, Hellenika.
The book gathers recipes alongside the memories, people and places connected to them. For its launch, Simon will be joined by Culinary Editor of the Australian Financial Review Jill Dupleix, bringing some of those stories from the page to the dining room.
Gather around the table for a shared banquet inspired by Hellenika’s celebrated cookbook, where beloved family recipes and Greek favourites are served alongside a selection of Greek wines and Mythos, plus an Athena’s Spritz on arrival.
In conversation with Jill, Simon will reflect on the recipes and experiences collected in Hellenika, and on the process of translating a restaurant into a book.
Event tickets start from $210, which includes the banquet, beverages and conversation, or an event and book ticket for $300, inclusive of a copy of Hellenika signed by Simon.
