Acclaimed for RBG: Of Many, One and the international phenomenon Prima Facie, Miller turns her incisive theatrical eye to the origins of the Australian Football League Women’s (AFLW) in Strong Is the New Pretty, revealing the people, decisions and defining moments behind one of the most significant shifts in Australian sport.
In conversation with moderator Stephanie Brantz, Miller and fellow panellists Minerva Network Athletes Paralympian Madison de Rozario OAM PLY, AFLW foundation player Ally Anderson, and Minerva Network Queensland Co-Lead Professor Sarah Kelly OAM will reflect on the broader themes at the heart of the story – from ambition and equality to community and change – and consider what the AFLW’s journey reveals about creating new possibilities for future generations.
