We seek a driven and motivated full-time Porter to join our Front Office team. You are the face of The Calile, and your presence and professionalism make you stand out from the crowd. You will be an enthusiastic, proactive, and driven team player, committed to ensuring our guests have an exemplary experience and delighting in assisting them in any way you can.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You must have a current and valid open Australian driver’s license, be able to drive manual and automatic vehicles and be available to work a rotating 7-day roster with a mix of early and late shifts.

THE POSITION
As Restaurant Manager of Lobby Bar, you will lead The Calile’s signature venue and set the tone for a dining experience that is refined, relaxed and consistently thoughtful. You will guide the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, working closely with the culinary and beverage teams to deliver an offering that reflects seasonal quality and the understated elegance that defines our hotel. Your presence on the floor will shape an environment where service feels genuine, warm and quietly confident.
This role requires a steady operational focus, including responsibility for staffing, training, financial performance and service standards. You will support and develop a talented team and collaborate closely with the culinary and beverage teams. If you have a creative flair, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the wine list, cocktail offering and broader beverage direction. Above all, you will champion a culture that values attention to detail and genuine hospitality, creating experiences that leave a lasting impression.
