Introducing our current feature community member, Silk Laundry. Friends of Calile staying during July and August will have the opportunity to secure key pieces with personal in-room styling sessions and complimentary gifts with purchases, exclusively at Silk Laundry’s James St boutique.

Looking for advice of what to pick when shopping at Silk Laundry? Let their expert in-house stylists lead a relaxed in-room personal styling session or solo try-on during your stay at The Calile. You will have the opportunity to shop personally curated looks and secure key pieces, plus you will receive a complimentary gift bag.

Guests that make a purchase of $1,000 or more during their personal styling session will receive a complimentary gift card to spend on a future purchase.

Personal in-room styling session
Guests staying in July and August 2025 will be given the opportunity to book a 45-minute refined one-on-one in-room styling experience with a Silk Laundry in-house stylist who will deliver personally curated looks, direct to the hotel room. Alternatively, guests can opt to visit the James Street boutique for an in-store private styling experience.
Gift with purchase
Guests who spend $1,000 or more in store Silk Laundry or at a personal styling session during their stay in July and August 2025 will receive a complimentary gift card, to be redeemed on a future purchase.
Spend amount is calculated before 10% Friends of Calile discount.
- Spend $1,000 – $1,499: Receive a $100 gift card
- Spend $1,500 – $1,999: Receive a $150 gift card
- Spend $2,000 – $2,999: Receive a $200 gift card
- Spend $3,000+: Receive a $300 gift card
How do you reap the rewards? Simply:
- Join the Friends of Calile and book a discounted stay during July or August 2025.
- Check in and open your Friends of Calile app to unlock your exclusive in-stay benefits – including a personalised styling session at Silk Laundry or shop at your own pace in-store.
- Book a personal styling session through Silk Laundry’s Private Styling Booking Link and opt for the “Exclusive Calile In-Room Styling.”Please note:
- Appointments will be offered 7 days a week and are subject to availability.
- Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- A Google Form will be sent after booking to confirm guest details and styling preferences.
- Items must be returned to reception within 4 hours if opting for solo try-on.
- Spend a minimum of $1,000 in store or at your personal styling session and flash your Friends of Calile app to receive a complimentary gift card. Friends of Calile 10% discount is available on all purchases. The qualifying purchase amount to receive a complimentary gift card is calculated prior to the Friends of Calile discount being applied.
