At The Calile we believe a night’s sleep should feel good in more ways than one, which is why for every stay we donate $5 to local charities and organisations making a quiet but lasting difference in our community. It happens automatically, every room, every night, all year round, because giving back is simply part of who we are.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by people doing remarkable things, from artists and educators to those working quietly behind the scenes to make our city richer, more vibrant and more generous. Supporting them is our way of recognising that the strength of a community lies in the people who shape it.
This October and November our Stay and Donate partner is the Australian Chamber Orchestra, an ensemble celebrated not only for its virtuosity but also for its ability to reimagine classical music with freshness and vitality, sharing performances that move seamlessly from the grandest of concert halls to intimate regional schools. Their music begins with strings yet resonates far beyond, carrying with it the gift of access, imagination and connection.
As always, your stay makes a difference, but if you feel inclined you can join us in doubling that impact by matching our nightly donation when you book or by simply letting reception know during your stay.
Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) – October & November 2025
The Australian Chamber Orchestra is a world-class ensemble with a local heartbeat, bringing music to life in ways that move far beyond the stage. REVERSE GARBAGE QUEENSLAND – August & September 2025
Not all treasure glitters. Some is offcuts, overlooked, or tossed aside until it finds new life in creative hands. Part supply store, part creative sanctuary, Reverse Garbage Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation, championing a circular economy and community connection. Their Woolloongabba warehouse buzzes with workshops, school programs, exhibitions, and curious minds, proving that sustainability and imagination go hand in hand.
By supporting Reverse Garbage Queensland, we back a movement that values purpose over convenience and creativity with conscience.
