Hotel

Turning Heads

It’s nice to get noticed, and on occasion, it is satisfying to bask in the warm glow of praise, particularly when it comes from multiple highly respected and authoritative sources.

Condé Nast Traveler undoubtedly counts as one such venerated source – and The Calile being recognised on their highly regarded The Best New Hotels in the World: 2019 Hot List, has left a warm buzz that is not the result of too much time poolside. The 2019 Hot List rounds up the world’s finest hotels of the year and the CN editors have hand-picked The Calile as one of the best openings, and the first Brisbane hotel to be featured.

The Calile has also been turning heads at internationally acclaimed travel industry heavyweight AFAR Magazine – featured as one of the top new hotels in the world in the journal’s 2019 The Best New Hotels in the World: The Stay List. The Calile is in very good company, listed alongside a global line-up including some of the most highly regarded new properties in London, Rome, New York and Paris. We are pleased to add Brisbane to that list.

This is not the first time The Calile has caught the eye of top tier international travel media. Since opening in October 2018, The Calile has appeared twice in the New York-based travel magazine Travel & Leisure. The first as part of a Reasons to Travel feature – we couldn’t agree more – and again recently in the T&L highly acclaimed It List: Our Editors Picks of the Best New Hotels in the World.

We are humbled by the accolades, but not distracted by it and will continue to deliver authentic and satisfying experiences, whether you have travelled 10 miles or 10,000. You don’t have to be an international travel editor to enjoy The Calile – come and experience for yourself what all the fuss is about.
